I own more than one licensed copy of vBulletin. As new versions of vB require template reversions, I found myself modifying each of my vB site with similar template modifications. I recently wondered whether vB's templates are located in the database or the file system. My searches confirmed that they are located in the database so my idea of updating one copy of the vB software with all of my common template mods and then copying them over to other sites wouldn't work so easily.
My question is whether its possible to copy templates only and copy them and only them to a separate site by replacing the template table in the database.Anybody?Templates are in the template table of the database. The recommended way to do this would be to user the 'Upload/Dowload' option under Styles & Templase.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
