I'm curious about others with dedicated servers - how long does your machine carry on between reboots? My RedHat Linux box goes down about every month without restarting... :(Before I just upgraded a few weeks ago I had over 300 days of uptime. Before that it was over 500 days.bash:~/www/forums$ uptime
12:49pm up 75 days, 8:14, 1 user, load average: 0.22, 0.05, 0.02mines between 45 to 70 days.. right now it's 21 days and countingi had mine up for 9 months without rebooting( the only reason why i rebooted is because i moved the server to another location) i havn't have it up more then 2 weeks now, because i just upgrade the keneral.[root /]# uptime
6:51pm up 124 days, 3:18, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.01, 0.00
[root /]#
Mind you, this is a Cobalt RAQ2 that I'm using as a foot-rest right now :)
My typical server uptime is about 2 months...#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
