Am i gonna be alright or do i got to go to the hospital?? ?

  • okay so uhh it is sorta hard to remember but i think i woke up at 6pm on sunday and stayed up all night and sorta all morning on monday and around 4- or 3 i fell asleep but woke up at 6pm or 7pm but while i did go to sleep i had a dream i was in space and this guy with me and he wanted to take pictures of the sun but didn't get too i dunno but then when i woke up i sorta went into my room and laid down on my bed ( don't ask why) so then i sorta tried to get back to sleep and didn't...i think so then i asked my dad why i could not get to sleep and he is like " maybe since you slept so much yesterday you do not need much sleep right now" i dunno if that is what he said but he is not a doctor so it is sorta hard to know if he is right or wrong so then i told him i had a dream and he said " that's a sign of good sleep....you where in REM" anyways so now here i am it be 1:42am in the morning witch makes it tuesday....so am i gonna be alright.....and when do you think i well ever get back to sleep? i would just like to note some things

food i ate- chips....and some chocolate cookie things...and peas and beans..that was a while ago though

    drink i had- cola..or dr.pepper idk

also i do not have any type of illness or anything i do not have insomnia am pretty sure am too young to have it since am 13 and a girl

    - no rude comments or spam please -

  • the (alive) girl is right, i have insomnia and i can type better than that.. you do need to re write this... im going on 2 hours of sleep since yesterday. you SHOULD be fine you just need to try to do more extensive things in the day time to try to balance your sleep habit out, so you are sleeping at night instead of the day. refrain from taking naps in the day time, that will help you get a better sleep at night

  • You went to sleep at an odd time and threw your body clock out of whack.

Plus you are eating chocolate and drinking cola - both have caffeine and the drink especially will be keeping you awake as caffeine is a stimulant.

Your lack of sleep will catch up with you in the next 24hrs and you will fall asleep and recover.

If you want to make yourself fall asleep sooner, darken your room, turn off tv and computer, have a warm drink of milk, maybe read a book otherwise lie in the dark, eyes closed and enjoy a daydream until you drop off into real sleep.

  • im 14 and basically did the same as you and its 1:49 and i can not get back to sleep so i think its normal

  • First, you need to eat more nutritiously. No caffeinated food or drinks within 7 hours of bedtime. Chocolate has naturally occurring caffeine, so the same is true for it as well.

The peas and beans are good for you. Add a banana near bedtime. It has triptophan that makes you sleepy. The potato chips have no nutrition, so they make you fat and give your body no building blocks for good health.

Start a walking program. Begin slowly, perhaps 10 or 15 minutes 6 days a week. Then move it up by 5 minutes every two to four weeks until you are walking at least 30 minutes. A pedometer can help you count your steps. If you wear it all day long you should eventually work up to 10,000 steps a day. If you do that, you will have enough exercise to help you sleep better.

There is a website called: http://www.realage.com from which I learn a lot interesting information about nutrition. You can take a health test that will help you figure out what your real health age is. It's fun to do.

If you have no other symptoms you should be fine. But if your sleeplessness continues for more than a week, see your family doctor so you can be evaluated.

  • Look
You are going to have to rewrite this.
it is unreadable! ... You need to begin and end sentences and throw in some white space.

I was very interested, but I could not hang in there with this question.
You won't get many informed answers because this is very very hard to understand fully.

    My advice:
Delete this and re-write it so people can understand it!

  • This is called a lapse of sleeping aptitude. It will be OK. Try to do some extra exertion in the day time so that you became tired and then go to sleep. I hope you shall be having a good Night sleep
