E-Commerce Liquidation Service Launches
Liquidation services include inventory listing and management; sales strategy support; sales performance reports; an integrated payment solution; and fulfillment capabilities.
"Excess inventory has long been an enormous financial burden for retailers, distributors and manufacturers," said Alec Peters, CEO of Auctionworks. "Auctionworks provides companies with access to online marketplaces and professional services ... that can significantly improve their margins for liquidation inventory."
In November alone, Auctionworks said, its customers sold more than $7 million of inventory on eBay. Customers include Home Depot, Mitsubishi Electric Automation and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
Privately held eBay licensee Auctionworks, founded in 1999, offers enhanced inventory and auction management features to help online sellers improve and increase sales efficiency. The company is enrolled in eBay's Application Program Interface and Developer's Program.
