hi guys, the other day i bought a dvd in which there were 3 movies : scarface, scent of a woman, dog day afternoon. so u see it's a collection of al pacino.but problem is the print quality of all the 3 movies is very bad.the picture is gloomy, dark and quite blurred. the pictures shiver sometimes and make it hard to clearly watch and understand all the objects appearing on the screen.

so i want to know why is it happening??? is it bcoz all those movies are quite old (released before 1990 except scent of a woman that was released in 1992) or is it a dvd compression problem or something else????????? is there anything i can do to make the quality better????????? probably using a good dvd compression software??????????? if so, tell me the name
