Rx.com became the latest entrant in the online pharmacy wars, launching an online store featuring more than 3,000 over-the-counter healthcare items, with more than 1,200 new products being added to the site weekly.

Rx.com said it will provide online retail prescription medication capabilities to consumers in the coming months. The prescription area will include detailed information on healthcare products, medical news and treatment information, interactive updates on drug regimens and 24-hour access to pharmacists.
