I always hear everybody raving over products like Kinky-Curly Custard, but they sell these products online, do you know where i could get anything similar to this in stores?1. Unfortunately most products people rave about for natural hair is found online Ex. Miss Jessies, Blended Beauty, Karen Body Beautiful, KCC, Mixed Chicks, DevaCurl, JessiCurl. There are none of these in mainstream stores as yet, especially in predominantely white towns. 2. I've heard stores like Urban Bella have them. 3. Whole food stores also have beneficial hair products like coconut, avocado, jojoba oils and henna. 4. You can check your local black hair salons. Sometimes they carry a line of beauty and hair products. 5. Lastly, it's still o...... - 2009-07-03

» Need help with my Nikon 5700
I just purchased a Nikon 5700 from a friend. My friend hardly used the camera and cannot answer my question. The first time I used the camera, the auto flash fired without a problem. Now it just reads SB with a red light. Battery is fully charged and I set everything back to defaults. I have read the manual several times, but there is nothing on the SB and the flash not firing. Can anyone please help?Try taking out the batteries, leaving it a few days and turning it on again. Guesswork: SB is a Nikon flash designation, so is there any crud on the hot shoe and have you tried pressing the button to manually raise the flash? Try the battery trick and let us know if it works. Hey, I want to transfer my MySQL database from a server (using phpMyAdmin 2.6.4) to another hosting account (which uses phpMyAdmin 2.7.0). If I do the "regular" backup and restore, it gives me an error saying that the default characterset latin1 isn't correct or something. So I looked around and I bumped into this link to transfer a database through FTP: http://www.mysqldumper.de/en/index.php Now, if I use that, there are two tables that don't upload successfully. The datastore and the plugin. I tried to do them manually, but it doesn't really work. » Libra, Ascendant Sign in Pisces ?
can anyone give me information on me being a libra with my ascendeant sign in pisces and my moon sign in cancer? You are probably quite peace-loving and easy-going. You will come across as personable and sensitive. People may feel easily connected to you. They may feel like they want to open up to you. You will be very emotional, as well. You may get upset and hurt very easily. You probably enjoy artistic pursuits, or at least hold the arts in high regard. Relaxation and having a good time is probably more important to you than career and so on. But there is much more to you than those three signs - the other planets, the hosues they fall in, and the aspects they make. » Wallpaper over Wallpaper
Handyman opted to paste new wallpaper over old wallpaper, keeps peeling down, reglued once but still peeling off - is this a futile effort?Hello mdpa173, The short answer is, yes, it is futile. It *is* possible to hang fresh wallpaper, successfully over old wallpaper, but it is not recommended. The old wallpaper would need to be prepped first, by being sanded and primed or sized first. New wallpaper can?t bond to non-porous surfaces, such as very smooth or vinyl wallpaper, or wallpaper that is dirty or greasy. If your wallpaper is peeling, even after re-glueing, it is evident the old wallpaper was not properly prepared. According to this Do it Yourself site, if the original wallpaper was a vinyl type of wallpaper, it should be remo...... - 2009-07-03

A strong earthquake has woken up Hokkaido dwellers around 4am this morning. The tremor had a magnitude 8 at its epicenter off the Eastern coast of Hokkaido, but n more than 6- on the island itself. » Christians, does god take as much pleasure as you do in the thought of atheists going to hell?
Just curious, a lot of you folks seem absolutely giddy at the thought of us dirty atheists being tortured eternally. Is that just a personality flaw of Christians, or does your god hate atheists as much as you do?I take great pleasure in knowing that it is easy to avoid being sent to eternal hell, and ANYONE can avoid it, if they really want to. The only way to avoid being sent to hell, is by believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore it is easier to avoid hell, than to get out of bed in the morning. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is this: The truth is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell is by believing that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again...... - 2009-07-03

For your information, this "Talk-History" website is very interesting, but not well known.Cool! The pottery is such an interesting art, and I always wanted to try. I especially like Joumon style; it has very strange and unique pattern. There is a story of a little black boy who runs errands for his mohter and always gets them mixed up. The ending is that he be careful how he steps in the pies and he very carefully stepped in each pie. His name is something like Epomonandes. I would like to locate a source for this story.Hello. The story that you're looking for is "Epaminondas and His Auntie" by Sara Cone Bryant or some version of it. See this description from the newsgroup rec.arts.books.childrens, 1999/08/06, "Interesting, this is almost certainly a retelling of EPAMINONDAS AND HIS AUNTIE which was retold by Sara Cone Bryant in its most famous version. I know a bunch of us bought those combo's with the bag. My question is how durable are these rapid max chargers. Can they handle an occasional tap or drop or bang. Being in the bag with tools in all. Are they build strong like the tools or are they made to be on a shelf charging batteries. Thanks in advance for the unbiased info. LOL smile.gifThis is just my experience with cordless tools in general, but I've never had a charger go bad. The Ridgid charger looks and feals a little tougher then most other brands chargers. But then again the Ridgid charger is a little more complex then most chargers and probably contains more components for posible problems. » Why does Minutes to Midnight suck so much?
Linkin Park used to be a decent band, but their new album is 80% emo crap. What happened to them? They suck...and as for the first post, I would be willing to bet money that 90% of the 625,000 were bought by stupid "emo" kids with their parents credit card, right after they bought some $90 pants from Hot Topic!! Oh those poor kids have it so bad!!In my opinion they've always sucked.idk but "emo crap" is AWESOME!does not!!pffft, I don't know if many people are going to agree with that. The album debuted at #1 and they sold over 625,000 units in the FIRST WEEK, according to this news article (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article... Many people feel it's their best work yet. » Trinidad tests dead seabirds for bird flu
Trinidad tests dead seabirds for bird flu AP Saturday, February 18, 2006 PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) - Trinidad officials tested five dead seabirds yesterday to see if they had contracted the bird flu virus that has swept from Southeast Asia into Europe and Africa, authorities said. Residents of the eastern town of Manzanilla reported finding the birds - four pelicans and another seabird - on Thursday at a local beach, the agriculture ministry said in a statement. Dead fish were also found at the site. Although there have been no cases of bird flu reported in the Caribbean, Jamaica recently said it has tested some of the country's bird population in a bid to protect against the deadly virus. » Is it ok to drink with your kids awake?
I have a 2 year old and 3 year old and I have only had a drink two times in my life. I have no idea if it's ok to drink and watch your kids at the same time. I think it's ok but I don't know. i dont really like the idea. I guess one drink with dinner would be ok. But i'd say more than one drink means no kids at all or at least if they're sleeping, another parent who hasnt been drinking should be available incase they wake up and need mommy or daddy. But it depends on the individual person. So you do whatever you think is right. The subject just reminds me of once my parents took my sisters to a bbq and mom was drinking and on the way home she got tired and fell asleep and my littlest sister was crying histerica...... - 2009-07-03

» renaming search.php
I need to integrate another php script into the search page - probably using php include . The easiest way would be to do this as your help page says create my_search.php and include my new script with your search.php script but this would mean changing all pages with the site search box to this new URL . Is it possible to rename search.php to say xsearch.php then i could use search.php instead of my_search.php and would not need to change all pages . Thanks :wink:It is possible, but it would be a bit tricky. Because when you rename "search.php", the next time you index, the indexer will try to write out a new copy of "search.php" again. You can set the file to "read only", but this would be a bit of a dirty hack and you might run...... - 2009-07-03

» What tubeless tires should I get?
I'm looking at getting tubeless tires for my mountain bike. I have a cannondale f5. I want something light and not expensive. Any suggestions?Tubeless tires aren't worth the hassle. You need special rims, and that plus the tires are gonna cost some real cash. Stick with traditional tires and heavy duty tubes. Less problems with snake bites that way. Get the Continental Leader or Flow ( 26 x 2.1 ) pair for $39.98 -www.blueskycycling.comUnless your rims are tubeless compatible, not expensive is not an option, you would have to either replace your rims, or buy new wheels. Tubeless tires are not necessarily any lighter than conventional tires, because the tubeless tire casing has to be heavier to retain air, and tubeless beads...... - 2009-07-03
» How is the stock market affecting us?
Can someone explain this to me because im really not understanding it.Public companies like Coca Cola and others listed in the stock market is funded by investors. When the economy get's gloomy and pessimism dominates, investors panic and sell their stocks, thereby driving the stock lower and affecting the daily managment of the company. The company hence can't raise money and would have hard time selling their product(whatever it is) , which translates to cut jobs, dampening the prospect of hiring until the economy improves. people own stocks as part of their savings/pensions. if the stock market declines, so does their wealth. that's the first obvious consequence. a person that has lost some of its wealth will cut down on...... - 2009-07-03

Global Health Policy « PEPFAR Reauthorization Responds to Some Evidence from First Five Years MARCH 24, 2008 Fighting the White Plague: World TB Day 2008 Posted by Rachel Nugent at 12:00 AM Today is World TB Day. It would be nice to be celebrating it as the day that TB was wiped out. Instead, this day commemorates the discovery of the TB bacillus 126 years ago. Yes, that's right: 126 years. It's pretty clear that TB bacillus is a wily foe. We've made some progress since Dr. Robert Koch's "eureka!" moment, but not nearly enough. A big reason for the stalled progress in fighting TB is growing resistance to the drugs used to treat it. The recommended treatment for TB, known as DOTS, is designed precisely with the...... - 2009-07-03
» Warranty Clarification From TTI - Finally!
I pulled into the local Home Depot today and saw a TTI truck parked out front. The TTI rep was there demoing the Ridgid line of tools. I started talking to him and the tool department manager (whom I know pretty well) about the "lifetime" warranty. The TTI rep said that the tool itself will be serviced for life by a local TTI service facility, not Home Depot. When a battery fails, the customer will have to bring the tool and battery to the repair center where the serial number of each will be recorded and a new battery will be exchanged for the old - ONE TIME only. Batteries will not be replaced for life. And doesn't that make sense? How could any company possibly replace something like batteries for the life of the tool? Talk a...... - 2009-07-03

And I read the requirements which were updated after the fact and decided to make the purchase. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=162874&highlight=mysql3 Right off the bat I have to modify the files just to get it to install  Going to heavily modify this thing anyway but it should be able to do the base install on its own :rolleyes:The best solution is to get a web hosting solution that offers up-to-date MySQL and PHP. I took this last weekend and sent it to a buddy of mine and he said I should get a hold of the owners to see if they would want a print. I said I had no idea who owns it. Well with him being in Real estate he sent them an e-mail and now they are curious as to how much for a 16x20 print. I have no clue how much would be fair price as I never thought I could ever sell a photo. Here is said picture. I posted it earlier this week but this one has more contrast to it. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m228/bikefreax/bridgeir_filtered3.jpgI took this last weekend and sent it to a buddy of mine and he said I should get a hold of the owners to see if they would want a print. » Interesting Comments on Japanese Ceramics
I came across a short and interesting thread on Japanese ceramics (January 2006), and one Americans love of this very advanced art form, which I totally agree to its beauty. http://www.talk-history.com/forum/japanese-ceramics-their-t2123.html? For your information, this "Talk-History" website is very interesting, but not well known.Cool! The pottery is such an interesting art, and I always wanted to try. I especially like Joumon style; it has very strange and unique pattern. I think, however, it is odd that the Japanese praise and give high ratings to some of those that are mis-shaped or rather ugly looking. It must have something to do with their weird fascination about beauty.two years ago, my town visited traveling exhibit...... - 2009-07-03

» Division Three adopts salary control experiment
In an experiment designed to keep clubs out of debt, the clubs in Division Three have agreed to abide by a scheme that will prohibit clubs from spending over 60% of their turnover on player wages and 75% of their turnover on total staff wages. Clubs that do not reach these guidelines will face punishments ranging from fines to point deductions. The FL had discussed this move in meetings during the 2002/3 season, but it's official as of yesterday. http://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk/today/view/breaking_news_detail/0,,10794~407399,00.html While it sounds like a sensible step, I have two concerns: 1) What good are fines for clubs that are already in debt going to do? and 2) What if a club is really struggling to bring in cash?...... - 2009-07-03
» If someone threw a shoe at Obama, would the person be called a racist?
You can abuse Bush all day long and nobody bats an eye, but one word about obama & it is racist..No. He won't be called a racist, but could be really called stupid if he could prove there was no intent to harm the president. He will be arrested (probably will be held without bail), investigated and charged with several federal crimes.No. But why would anyone throw a shoe at Mr Obama? As yet, he has not invaded any soft-target third world countries and brought them to the brink of ruin. Iraqis have good cause to dislike Bush.Especially if the shoe was white and thrown by a white person-primarily a conservative...Of course, at least by some people. » Why do lesbians have such a severe attitude problems?
Rosie O'Donnell is a shining example. Every one I have run into has been bitter, angry, b*tchy, or just plain evil. What is it? Are they angry about something? Are they trying to prove they are tougher than men?Not all lesbians are like that just the ones you see. Most are lovely people. That is like saying all black people commit crime coz they are black. White people commit crime too. Heterosexual people aren't always nice and homosexuals aren't always angry, sexual orientation doesn't have anything to do with being angry.Oh that's too funny. Unfortunately some of the media lesbians do have issues, No clue why. For the most part, the ones I know are good down to earth people. Not all lesbians are angry...... - 2009-07-03

I just bought a Sigma 10-20mm and am learning all I can about using a wide angle lens to it's fullest potential. I have a question about aperture choice though... I mean, if they all give you a sharp image front to back (is that really true?) Does it then become a choice made because of the speed you need?you can not achieve bokeh with a wide angle? *scrathes head* Sorry I don't have the answer but now I questioning :PHi, try going here http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials.htm and poking around. :)I ...... - 2009-07-03

The H5N1 strain of bird flu has devastat...... - 2009-07-03

I'm looking at getting tubeless tires for my mountain bike. I have a cannondale f5. I want something light and not expensive. Any suggestions?Tubeless tires aren't worth the hassle. Get the Continental Leader or Flow ( 26 x 2.1 ) pair for $39.98 -www.blueskycycling.comUnless your rims are tubeless compatible, not expensive is not an option, you would have to either replace your rims, or buy new wheels.
